By November 2025, a new chapter has been marked in the evolution of Jobst Technologies GmbH with the introduction of a refreshed brand identity. Under a joint logo and unified visual identity within the iST Group, the brand will now be known as iST Jobst.
Since its founding in 2002, Jobst Technologies GmbH has been guided by the promise to deliver cutting-edge biosensing solutions that works in real-life applications. In 2015, the company was acquired by Innovative Sensor Technology IST AG and rebranded to “Jobst Technologies – an IST AG company”. With IST AG being a component developer and manufacturer like us with a strong focus on quality and a customer-centric approach and offering the fit couldn’t have been better. Through this partnership, the biosensor offering and distribution were expanded globally, synergies were leveraged, and manufacturing capabilities were mirrored in Switzerland to enhance supply security.

The rebranding as part of the iST Group’s branded house is emphasizing the Group’s ambition to be a market leader in physical, chemical, and biological sensors. According to Mr. Jobst, “The new appearance reflects our strive for constant improvement and deep integration into the iST Group.” This marks a significant step in strengthening iST Jobst’s global offering of sensing solutions that make a crucial difference in life science applications.
The name “Jobst” will continue to be part of the company’s identity, having become a brand that represents trust, innovation, and excellence for over more than two decades. As Mr. Jobst stated, “While the branding evolves, the driving motivation of the team at iST Jobst remains unchanged: to deliver sensing what matters by small smart solutions for those in need.”
